We utilize premium, high-grade leather selected for its durability, flexibility, and breathability. Our leather is processed to offer a soft, contouring fit that adapts to the shape of your foot, providing consistent comfort during daily wear.

Anatomical Footbed
The core of our footwear is an anatomically contoured cork-latex footbed. This base is engineered to mirror the natural structure of the foot, providing targeted arch support and weight distribution. The surface is finished with a smooth, moisture-wicking lining to ensure comfort.

Outsole
Each pair is equipped with a high-traction rubber outsole designed for stability and longevity. The tread pattern is engineered to provide a reliable grip on various everyday surfaces, ensuring steady movement and durability.

To ensure the longevity and performance of your footwear, please follow these maintenance guidelines:

• Leather Upper: Gently wipe the leather surface with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. If the leather requires a deep clean, use a standard, neutral leather conditioner. Avoid abrasive brushes or harsh chemical cleaners.
• Cork Footbed: The footbed is made from natural materials and should be kept away from extreme heat (e.g., direct sunlight or inside a hot car), as this can cause the cork-latex to dry out or crack.
• Moisture: These sandals are designed for everyday use but are not intended for submersion in water. If they become wet, allow them to air dry naturally in a shaded, ventilated area. Avoid using hair dryers, heaters, or direct radiators to speed up the drying process.
• Storage: Keep your sandals in a cool, dry place when not in use to preserve the integrity of the materials.

Understanding the Fit
Our sandals are designed with an anatomical shape that may feel different from standard flat-sole footwear initially. Because our footbed is engineered to support your natural stride, we recommend wearing them for short periods during the first 3–4 days to allow the cork-latex to adapt to your foot’s unique profile.

Sizing Advice
We recommend ordering your standard size. If you typically fall between sizes or prefer a slightly looser fit, we suggest opting for the larger size to allow for natural movement.

What to Expect

• Initial Feel: You may notice the firm support of the arch contour immediately. This is intentional and provides the foundation for our "all-day comfort" promise.
• Break-in Period: Over the first few wears, the leather upper will soften, and the cork footbed will settle to accommodate your weight and stride. This creates a personalized fit that improves with consistent use.

Every US and Canadian order ships free — no minimum, no exceptions. US orders arrive in 3–7 business days. Canadian orders typically take 7–14 business days.

Returns
We offer free returns within 30 days of delivery. Boots must be unworn and returned in their original packaging. To start a return, get in touch through our Contact page and we'll send you a prepaid label.

Refunds are processed within 3–5 business days of receiving your return.

Every Consilla boot is handcrafted from full-grain leather by a single artisan — cut, stitched, and finished by hand from start to finish. We use Goodyear welt construction on every pair, which means when the sole eventually wears down, a skilled cobbler can resole them and give them another decade.
